You can imagine my surprise when the I got a email from Rene Lynch at the Los Angeles times asking me for permission to print my Pop Tart image in the Thursday food section. \u00a0I have been a LA Times food section addict since 1988 and I can’t imagine a sweeter treat to start my day. \u00a0 Here’s the link to the Times article.<\/p>\n

Donald took the L.A. Times Test Kitchen’s recipe for\u00a0homemade Pop Tarts<\/a> for a spin, and shared the results with us. We liked this photo so much we published it in all its golden, flaky glory on E2 of Thursday’s Food section. Thanks for allowing us to do that, Donald.<\/p>\n
